The fall of INDIA

(This article is not about some war India lost but its fall from the pinnacle it had achieved thousands of years ago. This article is about how the Indian values got eroded, how the treasures of knowledge it had were lost, how its philosophy, way of life, lost their acceptance.)

It is not only the human beings who are governed by their destinies or fates. A society and a piece of land too have their own fates. Human history is full of stories of rise and fall of individuals as well as societies and countries. We know of many lands that existed once, but now are lost - some submerged under the great oceans on earth and some entered the womb of earth. India, or Bharatvarsha as it was known in the ancient times, too has seen its glorious past and is presently seeing its fallen status. Once it was known as "Golden Bird" and today it is among the poorest of the nations. It was also called "Jagadguru" (Guru of the world) and today its status is for everyone to see.

It was India that discovered zero, without which mathematics would not have been possible. It was India, whose system of medicine "Ayurveda" was followed by whole world. It was in India that the whole system of Yoga, for physical, psychological and spiritual well being, was developed. "Dhyana", which became Zen in Japan is India's contribution to the world. The concept of "moksha" or liberation or enlightenment originated in this country only. Astronomers who accurately measured heavenly distances like that between Sun and the Earth belonged to India. It was here that the game of chess was invented. It was here that the concept of atom was first conceived. It was here that the law of inertia, which was rediscovered by the greatest scientist Sir Isaac Newton and is known as First Law of Motion, was first propounded. It was here that Architecture was developed into a system. The measurement-system of time was developed here. Much before Aristotle, who is called father of modern logic, was born, a whole system of logic called "Nyaya-Darshan" was developed here.

The list is endless. In short, it can be said that almost all that was known to the ancient world was discovered, developed or invented in India.

Why then, Bharatvarsha, lost the status it enjoyed in the world? How this fall came about? The questions are not very easy to answer. It will take volumes to satisfactorily answer these questions. In this article, one of the aspects is presented.

The first world war, that this earth has endured, was not fought in the twentieth century. What we refer to as the first world war was, in fact, the second one. The first world war was fought in India, more than five thousand years ago. It is known as The Mahabharata war. This war changed the course of Indian History. It was a catastrophic war not only for India but the whole world. The story of Mahabharata war has been described, in a great book of the same name, by Maharshi Ved Vyasa. Due to the space constraint, let us not talk about the war itself but only about its ramifications.

In ancient India, the society was classified into four distinct classes. The most respected class was that of Brahmins. The people belonging to this class were engaged in studies, teaching, and research work. The next class was that of Kshatriyas. These were the warrior people. Most of the kings of that era belonged to this class. Next, in the social order were Vaishyas or the businessmen. And the last category of people were Shudras, who did all the lowly and menial jobs of the society.

(Note:This division of the society has been much maligned in the present times. It is one of the main themes around which the modern politics of India revolves. However, in spite of the distortion this system acquired after Mahabharata war, it is not very difficult to see that originally this system was a very scientific one. In fact, these divisions exist even in modern times. Professors, teachers, scientists, research scholars, reformers, thinkers, philosophers, psychologists etc can be called Modern Brahmins. The policemen and the soldiers can be said to be the Kshatriyas. The next two classes are not very difficult to identify.)

The most important aspect of this system was the working relationship between Brahmins and Kshatriyas. Brahmins did not do any job or business for their living. They lived very frugally. The sources of their livelihood were two. First, almost all of them used to teach. There were no fixed tuition fees for teaching. Each student paid as per his own means. There used to be no demand from the teachers for teaching. The students paid, what was called "Guru-Dakshina", only after their studies were complete. For day to day expenses of the school (called Ashram), which were meager in any case, the students, including princes and the progenies of rich people, used to beg. Begging was not considered unrespectable in those days since even the sages and saints (Buddha and Mahavira also used to beg for their living) used to beg for their living. Begging was not the refuge of those who were the lowliest of the society. For them there were the menial jobs. The students were asked to beg mainly to teach them humility. Arrogance and egoistic behavior were considered the nature of uncivilized and anti-social people. Scholars or Brahmins begged because they did not take up any jobs or business. Their time was spent in contemplation, Sadhana and studies. Other people, considered it a virtue to give alms to these people.

The second source of their livelihood was the grants given by the king. It was the duty of the king to provide for the Brahmins. The king could not shirk his responsibility towards the Brahmins of his kingdom. Though the power to rule was vested with the king, he used to rule in accordance with the directives given by the Brahmins. Those directives were binding upon the king. In case of any confusion regarding his duties, the king used to take guidance from those scholars. In matters of Dharma too, Brahmins used to guide the king. Since the king had no choice in providing for those wise men, and also because they did not depend on the king for their livelihood, the king could not influence those learned men. As Brahmins had no vested interests in the affairs of the kingdom and as they had no greed or ambitions for themselves, they used to guide the king selflessly. They were so respected by the people that if any king dared to stray from the path of Dharma, these Brahmins successfully led the people against the king to overthrow him. So, the king knew that the real power lied with them. As long as he ruled according to the laid down rules, Brahmins never interfered with the affairs of the state. In this way, the society was governed as per the rules laid down by selfless people, who were great scholars. The king could never become a tyrant.

During the Mahabharata war most of the kings were killed. The soldiers, who returned home alive, established their rein over small areas they could control. The whole social system got disturbed. While earlier kings used to take care of the Brahmins, the soldiers, who became kings by virtue of their martial skills only and had no formal training in Raj-Dharma (Code of the Rulers), stopped the state patronage of Brahmins. People started finding it difficult to make both ends meet due to the collapse of the system of properly ruled states. They stopped sending their wards to ashrams for studies. Instead they preferred to train their kids in their own profession themselves. Due to the greatly reduced levels of income, people became reluctant to give alms. This situation created a sort of crisis for Brahmins. They could not take up any jobs, nor could they set up any business. For their survival they started inventing numerous rituals. They started charging for imparting education and misinterpreted Shastras (the sacred texts) to their own benefit. General public saw these developments and thought that Brahmins were becoming greedy. The respect for Brahmins started diminishing. This created a sort of vicious circle.

Earlier the caste system was based on profession. A Kshatriyas child, if inclined to wards intellectual pursuits, could become a Brahman. Similarly, if a Brahmin's son wanted to become a businessman, he was free to do so. The caste system was fluid. People chose their professions as per their interests, talents and temperaments. Since people took up labor of love they excelled in their profession. The society was prosperous and peaceful. After Mahabharata war, things began to change. Education system started to change for the worse. The process of its commercialization started taking root. While earlier every one interested in studies could simply go to an ashram and study there for free, now the question of affordability could not be ignored. Naturally, it became much more prudent for parents to train their children in their own vocation. From here, parentage based caste system took root which hastened the fall of India.

The most affected people, by this loss of royalty due to the war, were Brahmins. As mentioned earlier, since they had no other means left for their livelihood, they started distorting the meanings of Shastras in such a way that it suited them. They tightened their grip on the sacred texts making them unavailable for general populace. Since it became difficult for people to change their profession, the intellectual class started losing talent pool from other classes. As it is not necessary that a son will inherit all of his father's talents, the Brahmins' intellect, as a class, started losing its sheen. Many people, who were not interested in their family profession, were forced to remain in the same profession wasting their talents. A businessman's son, who could have become a great warrior, became a businessman. A Kshatriya's son, in spite of having intellect of a great scholar, was forced to train in martial arts making a poor warrior. In this way, the rot slowly set in. With so much of talent being wasted all around it was only a matter of time before Indian society lost its strength, knowledge and heritage.

(The reasons presented above are certainly not the only reasons for this fall of the great Indian society and its values. What is indisputable is that the rot set in only after Mahabharata War. Any war, of such magnitude, brings about such an all round destruction that it becomes extremely difficult to pin point a single reason or two for the resultant changes in the affected society. All the aspects are so inextricably interlinked that it is well nigh impossible to isolate a particular factor. So, the matter presented here is only one aspect of the whole story.)

Oh GOD Please Save My Country...!!!!!!!!!!!!

While browsing.... I gone through these lines in wikipedia..

" On 8 April 1929 Bhagat Singh threw a bomb onto the corridors of the assembly. The bomb neither killed nor injured anyone and also the bomb was not powerful enough to cause injury, and by the fact that the bomb was thrown away from people.  Bhagat Singh was sentenced to death for the bombing on 12 June 1929."

Then my heart cries by thinking about the present situation...

"Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab killed 166 and injured 238 people while billions of people witnessing the situation on 26 Nov 2008." This is the real fact that every Indian knows..

Around 35 crore rupees have been spent to keep him in jail till now.

A Mumbai Special Court on May 6, 2010, sentenced Kasab to death on four counts.

Then he appealed to High court.....

Then the news is "Bombay high court has upheld the death sentence on 21 Feb 2011." by writing a 1200 pages judgement.

It took these many months to give this obvious judgement from the date of the incident...!!!!

On 23 Feb 2011 the news is " Kasab to appeal against death sentence in Supreme Court"

Hope Supreme court gives the same judgement early lets say after a year...

If sentenced to death then he will be the 52nd person on death row in India....

At least 100 people in 2007, 40 in 2006, 77 in 2005, 23 in 2002, and 33 in 2001 were sentenced to death (but not executed).....So even after judgement we don't know when he will be hanged..!!!!!!!

Why we act such as stupids...instead of killing him with a stroke...Why these use less procedures and spending so much of time, man power , huge amount of money around 35 crores (Instead this amount shall be given to families of victims who died in that incident)...

IF BRITISH FOLLOW THE SAME PROCEDURE WE MAY NOT LOOSE EVEN ONE FREEDOM FIGHTER.......

For a person who did such a crime with witness of billions is not punished till date then what about the normal crimes comparatively......:-(

Oh GOD what shall we do to change my Countries mentality...Change their attitude.....Please bless my nation and save my country..Please..!!!!!!!!!!

Whom you say as Educated...!!!?????

What is the purpose of education...? What is an education really mean...? When you ask any person in this country, why you need education.?the maximum replies will be for a job..to live etc..! But many believe education means qualification..and does both mean the same..? How many of the people are confident in the subject they got qualified..? How many know the actual meaning or understand of what they are studying...? In this highly populated and developing country for getting a job really needs to face tuff competition  . Thats true. For that every parent wants to grow toppers and rankers in their homes. Every one wants No.1. that too in the field of engineering, medicine or management and other than these no other field is acceptable. And to say frankly they don't even like and have no guts to think other than these fields. Can you show me any one person who want to make his son/daughter as a great writer or painter. If any one ask this, the answers will be like.... "How much you will get if he is in that field...or it is difficult to get a job or it is difficult to succeed in that field". So here money dominates the interest..! And no one wants to take risk in that. This the real fact. Because of this we opt the field based on the money but not on the interest. And there is nothing that we cant get success in other fields...but we don't have guts to choose other than these and also cant realize this until somebody got succeeded in other field. But success comes with practice, excellence. For that a person requires interest on what he is doing. Only the person who have interest and passion in what he is doing can only get success. But most of us are influenced by the others in such a way that we cant able to think or set a goal by our interest. If people around us say this is good means we go for that without knowing about our interest or capabilities. Todays education is really job oriented but not knowledge oriented. And many are studying to get marks and qualification but not for knowledge. This is well known fact...! This is why we have many people with qualification but lack of real education. Here it is like joining a college... memorize the content...get a degree and join a job n relax...! But many pass the college without understanding what they studied. An educated person shall able to think about a problem. But I feel the real education in India will start only after joining a job. Here we do the things. We think for the solution. And we work on a particular subject and we become expert of that subject. But if a person who have no interest in his field can not get excellence and success. I have seen many of my friends who did electrical engineering and joined in software and other industries. There is no relation between their education and job. This is because of money domination as I said before and also lack of opportunities because of heavy competition. This is why we don't have people of excellence even having many qualified people. No inventions and no developments. This is why developed countries going ahead in improvements and inventions. They need not worry about money and they wont study for job or living. They study as per their interest and so they are succeeding. Then what about our country. We have to be like this only..? When the change will come...? We change the fields as per the industry boom.We study almost all subjects but with no expertise. We have many talents but development happens only if that talent meets the excellence...! But excellence can not happen until there is a change in attitude. Then to change this attitude we have to become rich and to become rich we have to change this attitude...! Who can solve this...!!!!??????????

Stronger Rupee = Stronger India

Let me ask a question first.

What type of economic strength is preferable to India?

A) A strong Indian economy fueled by its cheap labor due to a weaker rupee against dollar, where the Indians end up working in shifts, late nights, whole nights and what not… only doing low profile jobs which foreign companies want to offload to India, so that they can concentrate on high end works and become even better. For instance in IT field, providing BPO services, support and maintenance work for products…

OR

B) A strong Indian economy fueled by its strong innovations and products, no matter whether the rupee is strong or weak against dollar.. where Indians work only in regular office hours of 9 to 6, developing cutting edge technologies and solutions, selling our world class products both inside and outside India. For instance in IT field, imagine operating systems, compilers, databases etc all coming out of India..

I do not deny the fact that the IT boom in India came to a large extent because of (A). Well and good, we have had the benefits of our cost being cheap in western markets due to a weak rupee against dollar.. We have had our share because of this advantage in the past 2 decades.

But at the same time doesn't it make sense to move towards (B), instead of crying foul against rupee becoming stronger against dollar?

What a pity! Indian IT companies are feeling bad because rupee is becoming stronger against dollar! Reason, their profits will go down when the value of rupee is stronger, as every single dollar that comes into their account now means lesser rupee than earlier.(if for instance earlier they used to get 47 rupees for every dollar that comes in, but today its about 40!)

But isn't this a matter of celebration? Our rupee is gaining importance internationally and is becoming stronger again.. How many of us know that in 1947 when India got independence 1 Rupee was 1.2 US dollars?
These Indian IT companies instead of relying on a weaker rupee for their profit should now look at coming out with innovative products and technical solutions. What have these companies done in the arena of core system products? Why don't we have any operating systems, compilers, database systems, development platforms etc coming out of India? Why don't we develop tools like Photoshop or flash? We have talent, but they all are working in American companies on these products. Cannot our Indian IT companies’ setup at least small teams to develop such products?
Instead they are planning to make their employees work on Saturdays too ! So that their profits can increase due to extra hours the employees put in.. As if India doesn’t have any other option other than cheap labor, workaholic labor!! Are there no brains in India who can setup companies developing products and make money just by printing out more serial numbers and burning their product DVDs?

If Indian companies continue to depend on its weak currency, then how would Indian economy survive in a world where all currencies have equal value? Survival of the fittest. Only greater innovation can help us in that case..

We need to have knowledge and technological advantage if India wants to become a superpower, not low cost based cheap labor advantage! Let the Chinese do it.

I hope that rupee becomes more and more stronger so that Indians are forced to use their brains and come up with innovative products and next generation technologies, than to provide low end services…

We need to create a situation where other countries line up to buy our F-16s, to buy our operating systems, to buy our mobile phones and I-pods, to buy our Boeing, to buy our Mercedes…
A stronger rupee means we can easily afford foreign trips!

"A stronger rupee means Indians can buy things anywhere in the world on par with developed economies! We don’t have to spend crores of rupees then to buy a Boeing! We don't have to pay tens of thousands of rupees for international air travels! A stronger rupee means greater international exposure! There wont be a difference between buying a Maruti and buying a Mercedes! One can go on a trip to the Grand Canyon just like the way one goes to Ladakh or Nepal ! How do you think American citizens are able to tour all over the world? Because they earn more? No. But because their currency USD is stronger.. and this is where a strong rupee will lead us to!…"

I am not saying providing low end services is wrong .. It gave us a very good start in the 90s. But that should definitely not be the bread and butter fueling our economic boom indefinitely in the future.. For the simple reason that it can't continue to do so any longer.. other low cost destinations, cheaper than India are already coming up in the world… Let us move ahead… become more innovative.. the journey has just started…

This is just the beginning of all the beginnings…

'If Life Is A Game, These Are The Rules'

Rule One - You will receive a body.

Whether you love it or hate it, it's yours for life, so accept it. What counts is what's inside.

Rule Two - You will be presented with lessons.

Life is a constant learning experience, which every day provides opportunities for you to learn more. These lessons specific to you, and learning them 'is the key to discovering and fulfilling the meaning and relevance of your own life'.

Rule Three - There are no mistakes, only lessons.

Your development towards wisdom is a process of experimentation, trial and error, so it's inevitable things will not always go to plan or turn out how you'd want. Compassion is the remedy for harsh judgement - of ourselves and others. Forgiveness is not only divine - it's also 'the act of erasing an emotional debt'. Behaving ethically, with integrity, and with humour - especially the ability to laugh at yourself and your own mishaps - are central to the perspective that 'mistakes' are simply lessons we must learn.

Rule Four - The lesson is repeated until learned.

Lessons repeat until learned. What manifest as problems and challenges, irritations and frustrations are more lessons - they will repeat until you see them as such and learn from them. Your own awareness and your ability to change are requisites of executing this rule. Also fundamental is the acceptance that you are not a victim of fate or circumstance - 'causality' must be acknowledged; that is to say: things happen to you because of how you are and what you do. To blame anyone or anything else for your misfortunes is an escape and a denial; you yourself are responsible for you, and what happens to you. Patience is required - change doesn't happen overnight, so give change time to happen.

Rule Five - Learning does not end.

While you are alive there are always lessons to be learned. Surrender to the 'rhythm of life', don't struggle against it. Commit to the process of constant learning and change - be humble enough to always acknowledge your own weaknesses, and be flexible enough to adapt from what you may be accustomed to, because rigidity will deny you the freedom of new possibilities.

Rule Six - "There" is no better than "here".

The other side of the hill may be greener than your own, but being there is not the key to endless happiness. Be grateful for and enjoy what you have, and where you are on your journey. Appreciate the abundance of what's good in your life, rather than measure and amass things that do not actually lead to happiness. Living in the present helps you attain peace.

Rule Seven - Others are only mirrors of you.

You love or hate something about another person according to what love or hate about yourself. Be tolerant; accept others as they are, and strive for clarity of self-awareness; strive to truly understand and have an objective perception of your own self, your thoughts and feelings. Negative experiences are opportunities to heal the wounds that you carry. Support others, and by doing so you support yourself. Where you are unable to support others it is a sign that you are not adequately attending to your own needs.

Rule Eight - What you make of your life is up to you.

You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. Take responsibility for yourself. Learn to let go when you cannot change things. Don't get angry about things - bitter memories clutter your mind. Courage resides in all of us - use it when you need to do what's right for you. We all possess a strong natural power and adventurous spirit, which you should draw on to embrace what lies ahead.

Rule Nine - Your answers lie inside of you.

Trust your instincts and your innermost feelings, whether you hear them as a little voice or a flash of inspiration. Listen to feelings as well as sounds. Look, listen, and trust. Draw on your natural inspiration.

Rule Ten - You will forget all this at birth.

We are all born with all of these capabilities - our early experiences lead us into a physical world, away from our spiritual selves, so that we become doubtful, cynical and lacking belief and confidence. The ten Rules are not commandments, they are universal truths that apply to us all. When you lose your way, call upon them. Have faith in the strength of your spirit. Aspire to be wise - wisdom the ultimate path of your life, and it knows no limits other than those you impose on yourself.

BORN TO WIN

My competition said I wasn't ready to face him
My teammates said 'I think we need to replace him'
All the haters used to say 'we hate him'
I wanna thank y'all for the inspiration

Waited a long time for my time I'm anxious
Something like a doctor, cause I got patients
May the best man win, the worst man lose
Last man no choice, the first man choose

I was born as a leader, that's what I gotta be
I don't follow rules, I let the rules follow me
I'ma focus man on the lose, animal out the cage
An ambitious and vicious champion with a rage

What's the difference between a champion and a challenger?
A champion already conquered his caliber
You tryna become, a champion became
I got more wins then a hurricane

My adrenaline rushing through my veins
Next stop is victory, it's rushing like a train
I'm determined to win, cause there's nothing like the pain of defeat
I refuse to remain incomplete

Gotta lot of stamina cause I train for some weeks
Got my strength from the vitamins and the grains that I eat
All obstacles overcame, I'm unique
I started from the bottom, see I came from beneath
The sky's the limit so I'ma raise to my peak

Winning is everything, let me explain what think
Practice makes perfect, so when working I dont relax
I practice a lot, therefore I'm perfect and that's a fact

Been through some hard times while the burner was on my back
It was rough, but I was determined so I adapt
Gettin what Im deservin, holla back
Game over you lost like a person with outta map

Cause when it all begins
My eyes on the prize so it's on again
I refuse to loose I ain't gon pretend
I thought I told you I was born to win

Victory I choose
Ain't no turning back cause I paid my dues
I tighten up my laces when I tie my shoes
Born to win, I refuse to lose
Everybody loves a winner!

YOUR PERSONALITY

The crazy person says, "I am Abraham Lincoln, " and the neurotic says, " I wish I were Abraham Lincoln, " and the healthy person says, "I am I, and you are you, "

Answering the questions like Who am I? Why do I act the way I do? How did I get this way? Analyzing a person's thoughts, and behavior, based on the phenomena of ego states.

Imagine a mother loudly scolding her noisy, quarrelsome children . Her voice is shrill. Her arm is tense and held high in the air . Suddenly, the phone rings and she hears a friend's voice. The mother's posture, tone, and expression begin to change. Her voice becomes well modulated. Her once tense arm lies quietly in her lap.

Imagine two factory workers angrily arguing with each other about a work problem. Their argument is animated and fierce. They look like two children fighting over a piece of candy. Suddenly they here a crash of steel followed by an agonized scream. Their entire demeanor changes. Their arguments are dropped. Their angry expression give way to concern. One hurries to see what's wrong; the other calls an ambulance. Here, the workers, as well as the mother, changed ego states. An ego state is a consistent pattern of feeling and experience directly related to a corresponding consistent pattern of behavior.

.....in this respect brain functions like a tape recorder to preserve complete experiences in serial sequence, in aform recognizable as "ego states"-indicating that ego states comprise the natural way of experiencing and of recording experiences in their totality. Simultaneously, of course, experiences are recorded in fragmented forms.......

The implications are that a person's experiences are recorded in the brain and nervous tissues. This includes everything a person experienced in childhood and incorporated from parent figures, perceptions of events and feeling associated with these events, and the distortions brought to memories. These recordings are stored as though on videotape. They can be replayed, and the event recalled and even re-experienced.

Each person has three ego states which are separate and distinct sources of behavior: the Parent ego state, the Adult ego state, and the Child ego state. These are not abstract concepts but realities. "Parent, Adult, and Child represent real people who now exist or who once exited, who have legal name and civic identities " . Ego states are colloquially termed Parent, Adult, Child .

The three ego states are defined as follows:

The Parent ego state contains the attitudes and behavior incorporated from external sources, primarily parents. Outwardly, it often is expressed towards others in prejudicial, critical, and nurturing behavior. Inwardly, it is experienced as old Parental messages which continue to influence the inner Child.

The Adult ego state is not related to a person's age. It is oriented to current reality and the objective gathering of on iformation. It is organized, adaptable, intelligent, and fanctions by testing reality, estimating probabilities and computing dispassionately.

The Child ego state contains all the impulses that come naturally to an infant. It also contains the recordings of the child's experiences, responses, and "positions" taken about self and others. It is expressed as "old" (archaic) behavior from childhood.

When you are acting, thinking, feeling as you observed your Parent to be doing, you are in your parents ego state. When you are dealing with current reality, gathering facts, and computing objectively, you are in your Adult ego state. When you are feeling and acting as you did when you were a child, you are in your Child ego state.

REPUBLIC DAY

Although India obtained its independence on August 15, 1947, it did not yet have a permanent constitution; instead, its laws were based on the modified colonial Government of India Act 1935, and the country was a Dominion, with George VI as head of state and Earl Mountbatten as Governor General. On August 29, 1947, the Drafting Committee was appointed to draft a permanent constitution, with Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar as chairman.

ELECTRICAL HEROES...!

Franklin flew his kite on a Philadelphia night;
He saw that lightning was electricity.
Coulomb could tell that like charges repel
By the inverse square of their distance.
Orsted saw magnetic fields make a compass needle yield
When current passed through a nearby wire.

They were electrical, electrical, electrical heroes

Volta built a source of current and named a force,
Electromotive, of course.
Ampere put a current through a pair of wires;
They attracted and repelled.
Schweigger, Poggendorff, and Cumming, led the way in measuring current
In response to magnetic fields.

They were electrical, electrical, electrical heroes

The longer the wire, the more Ohm found that EMF would drop.
The thicker the wire, the more current passed from its source to ground.
Weber and Gauss used electricity to send messages nine thousand feet.
Wheatstone proved that Ohm was right and built a sensitive resistance bridge.

Faraday changed energy from electrical to mechanical
With motion and magnets he could generate current.
Henry made electromagnets that were stronger than any others
Through electromagnetic induction.
Thompson, Lord Kelvin, created a temperature scale.
He pushed for uniform measurement standards.

They were electrical, electrical, electrical heroes

Fourier used sines and cosines to describe any signal.
Maxwell created equations that Hertz simplified.

Volts, ohms, and amps, Henries, Coulombs, and Hertz
These are units we use every day.
So the next time you measure, remember those electrical heroes;
They helped create the job you have today!

They were electrical, electrical, electrical heroes
They were electrical, electrical, electrical heroes

Re-design the Society….

I decided to go home as I got Christmas holiday as a bonus on this weekend. But I didn’t get even the Tatkal reservation due to a heavy competition since no buses are available regarding Bandh in Hyd. So I have no alternative and I made my ticket reserved for next day with help of an agent and waited patiently for tomorrow's journey...Next day I woke up a bit late and reached the station at around 4:30PM, 15mins before the schedule time..(of course as usually the train started 15mins late to the schedule time). I made comfortable in the side lower and sightseeing at the greenery through window by having a cool breeze on my face and listening to the songs which already loaded in my cell phone. I am enjoying with the snacks that I had packed and my mind was very free at that time. After some time a beggar came to me. He looks like a middle aged person but had only one arm. I gave him some change than suddenly one doubt strike me...whether handicap makes a person as beggar? okk...while I am thinking about it suddenly a person before me started to enquire about me and this became a conversation between us about almost all the topics about Hyderabad from her school issues to the present telangana issue. After sometime we pause the conversation and again I started listening to songs with my headset...In the mean while an old woman with a bending back...shivering hands and legs...came to me for some money...I felt very pity on her condition and stopped listening to the songs and gave her money...but after that my heart didn’t get set right and started thinking about her situation...and If I compare myself with their situation..I felt myself as the very luck person that god gifted me many things which they don’t have. Then I thought that they are begging because they can't work due to their physical condition. But the next scene really hurted me... a small boy may be will have an age of 8 years sweeping the floor with his shirt and begging everyone. Its very cold around and every one are shivering including me even wearing sweaters and jerkins. But that boy without shirt and proper food, sweeping the floor...ohh its really a bad scene...He is the next generation and future citizen of India...Why he is like that...then when I saw outside from the window next to the greenery many people like him are living in very congested houses in slum areas. Why people are like this...we all are human beings.. social animals and we beat every animal on this planet and became the super power on this earth..even though we designed an excellent culture, society to live...all are not enjoying these facilities.. that means the society and living culture that was designed was not perfect..??!!! Then what should be done to make it perfect...? We see rarely no animal on this planet die due to hunger...but a human being who claims himself as the super power on this planet dying due to hunger and struggling a lot for a small meal... then on what way we can claim ourselves as best on this planet when our fellow being struggling for basic needs...? So it is necessary to re-design the society and the lifestyle we live..! Only countries which are developed can able to provide such a basic needs to its citizens.. but no way in developing countries. But this division of countries made division of total mankind in which man became the best and as well as the worst living being on this planet..! Is this fine to know that…? Is the psychology of human being is like that..he always seeks authority on something…for which there is no end…? We all are here on this planet to live happily but why these killings, wars, quarrels etc..? why a person cant able to see other as a fellow human being… ? In my view there should be only one world and all the resources in this world to be equally shared by all the people in this world with out any borders..divisions or restrictions etc… Then everyone will be happy and there will be no person on this earth who die with hunger..! Please think about it friends…!

Telangana...

Now a days all news papers and channels are focusing on this burning issue of Telangana which is an issue since 1969....! But really to develop Telangana is it necessary to make it a separate state...? If this is the only solution for developing any backward region of any state...then the number 0f states in India will cross easily 100...! Then why the issue of separate state raised... what they actually require...when I asked these questions to the People around me..I got different opinions such as it was raised for political advantage...or to increase diff parties popularity...and some are saying to collapse the present government by disturbing law and order with this type of issues etc...

But...If we check the history once...Actually 'Telangana' is the region of Telugu speaking people distributed in 9 districts in Nizam's Dominions(Hyderabad state) and 'Andhra' is the region of Telugu speaking people in about 12 districts in Madras presidency after Independence. Due to the linguistic differences Andhra region got separated with the present Tamilnadu state and Central government formed a separate state of "Andhra Pradesh by merging the Telangana region and Andhra region on November 1, 1956 with a Gentleman's Agreement between the two regions. The agreement consists of around 10 points. But many points had been negleted by the Andhra Pradesh government due to many circumstances which led to the many arguments and complaints between the two regions...which finally leads to the Telangana moment in 1969 causing a widespread violence and deaths of hundreds of people including 360 students. From then onwards even though the emotions and forces were not strong enough..... they keep on continuing the drive for a separate state. Due to their unhonorable demands, plans and assurances in the Loksabha the Telangana was forced to remain neglected, exploited and backward. After that, BJP tried but failed to divide Telangana as separate state....Then TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) was formed by our hero KCR in the year 2000 with one and only ambition of getting the Telangana State (of course personally there is a big story for him in forming this party). From then onwards saying this and that... daily or weekly he made himself a news for all of us and also made resignation as his hobby. And so they have no other issue or alternative except for asking Telangana...!

But here what they require weather development or separate state...? If a separate state is to be formed then at least 2000 crores to be invested on that particular region by central government ....but will it worth in making it as a developed state...? For example if we consider some separated states like Bihar and Jharkhand....what development we saw...? But instead of making separate states if they tried to get funds(even small % of amount spent on new state) for sincere development of that region.... now there may not be any development issues....! Then how making a separate state will cause to development of that state. And more over Separating the states will separate the resources which cause in restricting the use of even basic resources such waters etc..which we already got experienced with Karnataka...!

And some people are saying smaller regions can be administrated well than larger one and so it can be developed.....and also giving examples like USA etc... But I dont know why they are not considering Bangladesh and Pakistan for their comparison statement which are formed with separation from our country...and also very well related to the present issue...

So separation is not even a solution but seems like.... for solving a problem we are creating more problems which may not cause any development except a change in name from a backward region to a backward state...!
