But...If we check the history once...Actually 'Telangana' is the region of Telugu speaking people distributed in 9 districts in Nizam's Dominions(Hyderabad state) and 'Andhra' is the region of Telugu speaking people in about 12 districts in Madras presidency after Independence. Due to the linguistic differences Andhra region got separated with the present Tamilnadu state and Central government formed a separate state of "Andhra Pradesh by merging the Telangana region and Andhra region on November 1, 1956 with a Gentleman's Agreement between the two regions. The agreement consists of around 10 points. But many points had been negleted by the Andhra Pradesh government due to many circumstances which led to the many arguments and complaints between the two regions...which finally leads to the Telangana moment in 1969 causing a widespread violence and deaths of hundreds of people including 360 students. From then onwards even though the emotions and forces were not strong enough..... they keep on continuing the drive for a separate state. Due to their unhonorable demands, plans and assurances in the Loksabha the Telangana was forced to remain neglected, exploited and backward. After that, BJP tried but failed to divide Telangana as separate state....Then TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) was formed by our hero KCR in the year 2000 with one and only ambition of getting the Telangana State (of course personally there is a big story for him in forming this party). From then onwards saying this and that... daily or weekly he made himself a news for all of us and also made resignation as his hobby. And so they have no other issue or alternative except for asking Telangana...!
But here what they require weather development or separate state...? If a separate state is to be formed then at least 2000 crores to be invested on that particular region by central government ....but will it worth in making it as a developed state...? For example if we consider some separated states like Bihar and Jharkhand....what development we saw...? But instead of making separate states if they tried to get funds(even small % of amount spent on new state) for sincere development of that region.... now there may not be any development issues....! Then how making a separate state will cause to development of that state. And more over Separating the states will separate the resources which cause in restricting the use of even basic resources such waters etc..which we already got experienced with Karnataka...!
And some people are saying smaller regions can be administrated well than larger one and so it can be developed.....and also giving examples like USA etc... But I dont know why they are not considering Bangladesh and Pakistan for their comparison statement which are formed with separation from our country...and also very well related to the present issue...
So separation is not even a solution but seems like.... for solving a problem we are creating more problems which may not cause any development except a change in name from a backward region to a backward state...!
